2018赛季中超联赛第11轮的一场伯仲之间的较量上演，广州富力主场迎战河南建业。凭借主场之利的广州富力中场核心雷纳尔迪尼奥缺阵，但富力强大的进攻线还是给建业大门形成了多次的威胁，扎哈维罚失点球后在第68分钟，李提香左路得球后起左脚传向禁区，点球点附近肖智甩头攻门得手。面对老东家进球的肖智脱球衣庆祝吃到黄牌，然而情绪异常激动肖智的忘了此前已经有一张黄牌在身，最终因累积两张黄牌被罚下场。此后少一人的富力再遭厄运，此前助攻的李提香禁区内犯规被视频裁判判了点球且红牌出场，最终到手的3分变1分。

 

 

肖智不是唯一一个面对旧主进球脱衣庆祝的球员，但绝对是少有的因为脱衣庆祝红牌出场的球员。无独有偶，2014赛季中超第28轮，天津泰达主场对阵大连阿尔滨，比赛中泰达主场率先进球，随后阿尔滨利用反击快速打穿了泰达后防线，周通打进非常漂亮一粒进球扳平了比分。过于激动的周通脱衣庆祝，而他忘记了此前已经领了一张黄牌了，在比赛还剩30分钟的时候就让自己的球队陷入客场少打一人的被动局面，最终导致客场落败。

 

另一场比赛是2013赛季中超第二轮天津泰达客场对阵辽宁宏运，曹阳最后时刻为泰达在客场扳平比分，脱衣庆祝两黄变1红被罚出场，由于是补时阶段并未影响比赛结果。
