足球新闻，林加德遗憾首败，
首次在杯赛决赛输球后，林加德想确保下一次在曼联获得的奖牌是冠军奖牌。
两年前对水晶宫的足总杯决赛，林加德打进制胜球，但今年他和队友们在决赛输给了切尔西。蓝军依靠阿扎尔在第22分钟的点球破门赢得俱乐部第8个足总杯冠军。
“当你看到其他球队举起奖杯，这总是很难受。”林加德说道。
“当你必须走上楼梯，接受亚军奖牌时，这很难受。这是我第一次获得亚军，希望以后不会再这样。”
虽然输掉了比赛，但曼联14号认为红魔在90分钟的比赛中是表现更好的一队。
“我们用我们的方式控制了比赛，我们创造出很多机会，切尔西创造出来的机会数量不如我们多，但今天运气显然不在我们这边。”
虽然以失望的方式结束赛季，林加德还是很享受这个赛季的，他有信心曼联能在下赛季取得进步。
“每一个赛季我们都在进步。”他说道。
“很多球队都会经历过渡期，我们下赛季将会进步，我们会重新振作。我们必须反思我们的赛季，回顾过去的起起落落。我们将回顾过去，看看哪里要改进，使得我们能在下赛季做得更好。”
林加德现在有一周假期，然后会跟英格兰队友们回合，准备前往俄罗斯参加世界杯。
“这是我第一次参加世界杯。”他说道，“在完成赛季后，我肯定是怀着信心去参赛，因此希望我们能有好的表现。”
