Treyarch has confirmed that it is set to release a gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Citadelle des Morts Zombies map tomorrow (December 3). This should give players a better idea of what to expect from the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies map when it launches on December 5.
Citadelle des Morts is set to be the first new Black Ops 6 Zombies map since launch, joining the existing ranks of Terminus and Liberty Falls. This map is set to take place in an abandoned castle, offering a new aesthetic compared to the existing maps. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Citadelle des Morts was recently revealed with a cinematic trailer, which, while impressive, did little to tell players how the map will play. Ultimately, this is what really matters, and it won't be long now before players find out.

Treyarch confirmed on Twitter that the full gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Citadelle des Morts drops on December 3, meaning gamers who have been waiting to find out what to expect should keep their eyes peeled on the day. A GIF attached to the tweet gave a fascinating tease, featuring a player spinning a giant cannon and firing it at a door. It feels very on-brand with the entire castle theme of Citadelle des Morts, and certainly makes for an eye-opening visual. If it's a sign of things to come in the upcoming gameplay trailer, then it's sure to be a blast.
Until the trailer drops, speculation will rage on among the community about what Citadelle des Morts has in store on December 5. A potential exciting addition would be a new Black Ops 6 Zombies Wonder Weapon. These Wonder Weapons have been an important part of the Zombies game mode ever since Call of Duty: World at War. Iconic weapons like the Ray Gun and Wunderwaffe DG-2 have been Zombies staples over the years, and there's definitely something interesting to be done with Citadelle des Morts' castle theme. Community speculation has seen the novel idea of swords come up repeatedly, and hopefully, all will be revealed in the December 3 gameplay trailer.
While the new addition to the Call of Duty Zombies map lineup is exciting, it's not the only thing happening in Black Ops 6 at the moment. Prop Hunt was added to Black Ops 6 a few days ago, bringing the classic party game mode into the newest Call of Duty title. Meanwhile, Season 1 Reloaded is just around the corner, which is set to bring even more content to the game. Exactly what it will entail is yet to be confirmed, though.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
